The Cancer Survivors Park in Greenville, SC is more than just a park; it is a sanctuary designed to engage the mind, body, and soul in the healing process. Nestled along the picturesque Swamp Rabbit Trail, Cancer Survivor’s Park offers visitors a serene environment to reflect, find solace, and connect with others who have faced similar battles.
At The Heirloom Companies, we believe in the power of art to inspire, heal, and bring people together. Our custom sculpture, known as the Celebration of Hope Pavilion, stands as a testament to this belief.
Working with our friends and master general contractors at Harper, we fabricated a sweeping steel structure that was designed to provide dramatic overviews of the entire park. Today, it serves as a gathering space for community celebrations, survivorship programs, and casual encounters.
In 2023, the city of Greenville tapped us once more to add to the artisanal features at CSP. Designed by Yuri Tsuziki, a visionary artist and Greenville native, the new sculpture joined the park in spring of 2024.
Dubbed “Turning Point,” the tree-like steel structure acts as a sundial and represents the changing seasons of life, the branches of our journey and the roots that keep us grounded, even in hard times.
