The Daniel Revitalization

Coming Soon to Downtown Greenville, SC

Reviving a Landmark: Heirloom’s Role in the Daniel Building Renovation

An icon of downtown Greenville, the Daniel Building has long stood as a symbol of strength, scale, and Southern progress. Now, this 1960s-era high-rise is undergoing a transformative renovation—one that will usher in a new era of design while honoring its historic roots. At The Heirloom Companies, we are honored to contribute a range of custom elements to this ambitious reimagining.

The Bar: Modern Craftsmanship at its Finest

Led by real estate investment group PENDIUM and architecture firm DP3, the renovation of the Daniel Building is bold in both vision and scale. Heirloom’s handcrafted features will appear throughout the revitalized space, blending timeless materials with modern sensibility.

Among the most eye-catching additions will be the custom walnut bar top, designed to anchor the building’s new amenity level. Framing the space above and behind the bar are arched brass details, brass bar racking, and an antique glass backsplash, all provided by Heirloom to create a refined yet contemporary aesthetic.

A Masterclass in Steel and Brass

Throughout the building, custom brass and steel tenant entrances will welcome guests with a sense of permanence and polish. Inside, thoughtfully placed wall trim adds depth and character, while two oversized custom light fixtures—suspended from the ceiling—make a striking architectural statement.

All of the pieces are large—both in scale and in ambition—designed not just to fill a space, but to define it.

We are proud to be a part of breathing new life into one of Greenville’s most recognizable landmarks. This project is a testament to what can be achieved when vision, craftsmanship, and community come together. The Daniel is set to open to the public in 2026.
